Golden Gate in Jerusalem

The Golden Gate, also known as Gate of Eternal Life, Gate of Gold, Gate of Mercy, and Sha'ar Harahamim, is important for the three monotheistic religions. Jews believe that from this door the Messiah will come; the fact that it is obstructed makes impossible for anyone to cross it unless is the real Mesiah. Christians believe that this is the entrance the Lord used for the last time. Muslims believe that at the Day of the Judgement the just will cross through this gate.
